In April 2007 environmental artist Kerry Morrison was commissioned by Stream to research environmental issues on the Greenwich peninsula and develop proposals for working with local residents on new art projects for the public realm. 100 Cauliflowers is one of these projects, developing from specific research into the peninsula’s history alongside discussion with residents about issues of food growing, sourcing and consumption.
100 Cauliflowers is part of Stream’s ‘Peninsula‘ programme of contemporary participative art. ‘Peninsula’ commissions artists to engage with the Greenwich peninsula and its changing environment, and to produce new work in collaboration with local residents.
